Evue privacy policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026.
Evue turns photos and screenshots into tickets you can act on. It is built so that your information stays with you.
What we collect
Nothing. Evue has no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The developer never receives your photos, the text in them, your tickets, your questions or any usage data.
How your photos are processed
When you choose a photo, Evue reads its text on your iPhone using Apple’s Vision framework and understands it with Apple’s on-device language model (Apple Intelligence). Nothing is sent to the developer.
iCloud
If you keep “Save history” on, your tickets (details, summary, recognized text, your questions and a small thumbnail) are stored in your own private iCloud database so they appear on your devices signed in with the same Apple ID. The developer cannot access this database. You can delete everything from Settings › Delete all history, or turn history off.
Permissions
- Photos: to read the photo you choose or your latest photo.
- Camera: only when you take a photo in Evue.
- Microphone and Speech Recognition: only when you dictate a question; speech is recognized on your device.
- Calendar and Contacts: only when you add an event or a contact, through Apple’s own editors.
Links to other apps
When you choose an action such as directions in Waze or Google Maps, tracking a flight or a parcel, or opening a website, Evue opens that service with the detected address, number or code. Those services have their own privacy policies.
Children
Evue does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
