Simple, and genuinely private

  1. 1

    Any website

Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub, Google, or any site that only allows one login at a time.

  2. 2

    Any Chromium browser

Chrome, Brave, Edge, Vivaldi, Arc, Opera and more, chosen per account.

  3. 3

    No passwords stored

TheSwitch never reads or keeps your passwords. No network connection, no analytics: everything stays on your Mac.

  4. 4

    A global shortcut

Press ⌃⌥S from any app to open the account menu.

  5. 5

    Optional iCloud sync

Your list of accounts follows you across your Macs through iCloud Drive. Logins stay on each Mac, so you log in once per account on each one.

  6. 6

    Color cues and recents

A color dot for each account, and recently used accounts first.

How it works

1

Add an account

Pick a site and give the account a label, like “work” or “personal”.

2

Log in once

A browser window opens with its own profile, separate from the others.

3

Switch with a click

Open any account from the menu bar. Several can stay open side by side.
